ACNE- yellow sleeveless Zone top

One of the things I picked up on my recent adventure in Stockholm was this little guy... a yellow sleeveless top by Acne from their PSS 2012 collection.

 I've been looking for a yellow top for quite some time now and after realizing it was on sale for -40% I grabbed it and practically ran to the cashier.

Bought yet another white top from Zara. This one drapes beautifully and looks even better when it's tucked in.

In one of my previous posts I told you that I had ordered a little something something in rose gold... well here it is!

 My only problem, if you even can call it that, is that the color doesn't really look the way it did on the website. On the website the background color looked nude or slightly pink but in reality and from these pictures you can clearly tell it's white. I'm not saying that I don't love it, it's just not exactly what I was expecting.

 So what do you guys think I should do? Keep, return or exchange?

Still loving rose gold

I've been wanting to add a bit of rose gold to my collection for the longest time. So yesterday I finally made the decision to order a little something something ;)

Zara pleated top & Mango patent peep-toe stiletto heels

Got my hair cut today and while I was strolling around town I picked up these two beauties...

Zara pink top with front pleating, I adore the black one so I figured a lighter color would be nice for summer

 I've been looking for a pair of nude patent peep-toe heels for AGES but haven't found ones that I liked, until I came across these...

I just couldn't resist, they're the perfect shade of nude and just the right height (heel is 11 cm and the platform is 2 cm).

My poor little camera is trying its hardest to take good pictures and the gloomy weather outside sure isn't helping.

Detail of the day

Just got back home from a lovely day out on town with a friend. I'll upload pictures of what I got in the coming days, but in the meantime here is a snap of what I wore today. Black blazer is from Zara (old), grey t-shirt also from Zara and the scarf is by Athena Procopiou from her collection "the enchanted wood".

I had a job interview today and decided to take some pictures on my way back home

 Gasp! She wore jeans to a job interview! Haha it's probably the no. 1 don't when it comes to dressing for a job interview but it turned out just fine since even the interviewer was wearing jeans. The jeans were accompanied by the white silky Zara shirt I just blogged about as well as the navy Zara gathered sleeve blazer I bought a few weeks ago.

The coat that you can see a glimpse of is a quilted coat by Barbour.

 My trusted Zara tote got the important task of holding all of my bits and bobs 

As far as jewelry goes I kept it simple and only wore my favorite MK watch

For the love of the loafer

My love for the loafer goes way back. Ballerinas might be incredibly comfortable but the lack of structure and support make my wide flat feet (it doesn't get much worse than that) tire rather quickly.

These guys make some of the coolest loafers I've seen in both velvet and linen. Oh and if you can't find one that's just right you can customize your own.

Zara messenger bag strap

Some of you have been wondering about the strap on my new Zara bag. In my previous post I actually forgot to tell you that I'd shortened it.

 This is what the bag looked like when I bought it. Even though I did like the long messenger style strap I wanted something shorter.

 Open the buckle...

 and simply move it over to the other side.

 Obviously you don't want the other end of the strap hanging out so all you have to do is...

 Tuck it through to loop and into the bag and VOILA! 

And for anyone who was wondering, at its longest the strap measures at about 100 cm (about 40 inches for you kids across the pond)
