Zara messenger bag with edging

As promised here is a look at my new bag: the Zara messenger bag with edging in the colour grey

 Grey one comes with rose gold hardware. The bag is also available in black (see link below) with gold hardware

The bag has an interior pocket (no zipper) as well as two cellphone slots

I guess that's it, my exams are finally over!

Zara gathered sleeve blazer

Forgive me wallet for I have sinned!

Yes I caved and bought another blazer but oh how I love it. The classy navy color, the detailed shoulders, the wonderful light weight and the slimming cut... I would probably sleep in it. Blazers are one of my absolute favorite garments but can sometimes be a bit difficult. Many of them are too short and make my slightly longer torso look weird and if there isn't enough room in the shoulders I can't move my arms without the blazer constricting. If I go up a size they just don't look flattering, so when I do find one that's just right I have to get it.

 Don't underestimate the value of a first impression. Does J.Crew really ship all of their orders in a brown paper bag?

Nonetheless is still love the shirt, It'll be perfect for spring. If you're thinking about ordering it online just keep in mind that the color is NEON PINK!

There won't be much blogging this week since I have exams on both Monday and Wednesday which I really need to focus on. J.Crew order should be coming in this week. According to the DHL tracking system it has departed from Leipzig (Germany) so fingers crossed that it will arrive soon.

Savile Row

"Labels say you're one of the boys but a bespoke suit says you're the man"

I remember standing outside one of the tailors on Savile Row last October. Looking down into a workshop, I was amazed by the beautiful and intricate work that was taking place right in front of my eyes. If you have some extra time I highly recommend watching this documentary.

videos for the weekend

Here are two wonderfully inspiring videos for the weekend. Continuing on the subject of J.Crew, I placed an order yesterday which should arrive in 4-8 business days. Not too hard to guess what it is if you just go back a few posts.

Day in the life...

Start the day with some breakfast. Greek yogurt/almonds/whole grain cereal/honey and a glass of orange juice

 Time for a workout. Nike dri-fit sports bra and water bottle, yoga mat by casall, Old Navy yoga pants and my 1st generation iPod nano which I've taken back into use

 Time to hit the books...

 My reward... March issue of British VOGUE and a cup of Lipton herbal infusion tea (strawberry and rose hip flavor)
